History

Northeast Youth Basketball League (NYBL) is a 501(c)(3) organization. NYBL was developed to help children and young adults learn the proper fundamentals of basketball, while developing teamwork and team building skills.

Since 1985, our track record has shown that we have been able to aid in the development of boys and girls in the areas mentioned above. Through the hard work, dedication, and faithful support of our parents and sponsors, we have been able to achieve much.

NYBL's mascot is the Bluedog.

Each year NYBL competes in the end-of-the-year district and state tournaments. NYBL's continues to be successful in post-season play. Our state championships are listed to the right.

Starting this year, NYBL will be recognizing players who make the honor roll in their first marking period at our annual awards day ceremony on February 21st 2009.   Our goal, in this effort, is to assist you in encouraging and motivating our players and your children in the pursuit of excellence on and off the court.
